Mona - Famous Artists Online
Art Mona is an educational art portal, profiling famous artists throughout
art history. Artists from Leonardo through to Vincent van Gogh and to contemporary
working artists like Lucien Freud.
Artists are categorized by art movement and/or style, country, year, and
alphabetically. A new profile is added each week with an artist biography,
selected paintings, artist signatures, and other resources relating to the
artist online.
Art Mona is a relatively new site at the moment, but the plan is to make
the site a starting point for information on famous artists and art movements.
We would also appreciate any artist biographies or artist chronologies that
you would like to submit to Art Mona in order to make the site more useful.
If the artist biography is original, written by you and you have a website,
we will also link to you from the biography page.
